Senior Saints The Senior Saints is a ministry of First Assembly for those 55 and over. The Senior Saints meet every second Friday of the month to share a meal and enjoy fellowship with one another. The Senior Saints are about more than just eating and enjoying fellowship though. This past year they donated $1000.00 between two of our missionary families for Christmas! Kaney KidsAt First Assembly, we creatively teach Christianity, the Bible and the work and person of Jesus Christ. Your child will have many opportunities to apply their natural God given gifts for His ministry. Kaney Kids is a fun, energetic place where children sing, play, learn of God's love through the application of Bible lessons, puppet shows and much more. While your children are having a great time at Kaney Kids, we want you to have the best possible worship experience as well. That's why we've also provided a nursery for your little ones, ages birth to 4 years. When you bring your little one to our nursery, we'll give you a check-in number that will be assigned to your child. To ensure your child's safety and your peace of mind, this check-in number must be returned when picking up your child. In addition, if your child should need you for any reason, the assigned number will be displayed on the projector screen.

Women's MinistriesJanuary 26 - Women's Ministries meeting. Come join us @ 7:00 for an informal planning and informational meeting.February 26 - National Women's Ministries day. The ladies of First Assembly will be ministering in our morning service. Plan to be a part of this service as God reveals His love through the Women's Ministries of First Assembly!March 8 - 10 Women's Convention 2012 @ the Westin Galleria with guest speaker, Maria Khaleel.

We believe worship is a connection point between our lives and God's heart. Praise and Worship moves us to give thanksgiving to God for who He is and adore Him for all He has done.



What We Believe1. We believe there is one God. (Deuteronomy 6:4, Ephesians 4:5) He is sometimes called Jehovah or Yahweh (the Hebrew word for God). He is revealed in three persons: God (the Father); Jesus (the Son); and the Holy Spirit. The three are commonly referred to as The Trinity. (Matthew 28:19) 2. We believe that salvation is available to anyone who believes in Jesus. Jesus is God’s Son. He has always existed. Because of sin, mankind was doomed to die (Romans 6:23). Jesus came to earth as a baby, born to a virgin girl named Mary. He lived a life without sin, and willingly died for us. (John 3:16) Three days later He rose from the dead, He ascended to heaven, and He is alive today. We can know Him personally by believing in Him and asking Him to forgive our sins. 3. We believe the Bible is the Word of God and the ultimate source of truth. The Bible was written over a period of about 1500 years, in three languages (Hebrew, Greek, and Aramaic), by 40 different writers, yet it contains an incredibly accurate historical record and an impeccably consistent presentation of Spiritual truth. This is only possible because the words of the Bible were inspired by the Holy Spirit. The greatest evidence of the authority of the Bible is not in historical facts or its consistency. It is found in the obvious result of applying the truths of the Bible to our every day lives. (2 Timothy3:15-17; 2 Peter 1:21) 4. We believe that God still works in our lives in incredible ways. The Holy Spirit is still at work in the lives of believers today. In fact, many of the miracles of the Bible still happen and are documented every day. The healing of diseases, the restoration of broken lives, even prophecies and supernatural occurrences, all these things still happen. The reason these things still take place is because the Holy Spirit is still at work in the lives of believers. (James 5:14-16; John 14:12) First New Caney is a part of a global fellowship of churches known as the Assemblies of God.
